Job summary

Jersey College seeks an experienced Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students on campus in Tampa. The role emphasizes student success, assessment of performance, and professional nursing practice within a supportive learning environment.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher, an active RN license, and at least 3 years of RN experience with relevant clinical expertise.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to taught nursing courses and clinical experiences.
• Demonstrated knowledge in a nursing specialty that supports student learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Deliver clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Create a supportive learning environment and evaluate student performance.
• Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to students.
• Maintain current nursing knowledge and participate in faculty meetings and continuing education.
• Collaborate with faculty, clinical partners, and campus administration.
