Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students across classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSN or higher, be a currently licensed RN, and bring at least 3 years of relevant clinical experience. The role emphasizes student success, professional behavior, and collaboration with faculty and clinical partners.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to taught courses.
• Preferred: nursing education or teaching experience.
• Experience with clinical evaluation and competency-based education.
• Experience using learning management systems and educational technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in clinical settings and promote safe nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program standards.
• Prepare accurate progress and grade reports.
• Maintain attendance records and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to support student learning.
