Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality instruction for LPN/PN and RN students. The role includes classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical teaching across multiple sites with a focus on student success and professional development.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher nursing degree, an active RN license, and at least 3 years of clinical RN experience, plus familiarity with nursing education and evaluation methods.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the relevant state.
• Minimum 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses and clinical experiences.
• Experience in nursing education or teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction for LPN/PN and RN students.
• Deliver clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Create a positive learning environment and support student growth.
• Evaluate student performance and determine competency.
• Prepare accurate progress and grade reports; maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and clinical partners.
