Life Care Centers of America seeks an RN to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the Nursing Services department to ensure high-quality patient care.

The position requires an active RN license, ASN/BSN, and preferred 2+ years of geriatric nursing. CPR certification is required or obtained during orientation. The role includes leadership responsibilities and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• ASN or BSN from accredited college or university.
• RN license in good standing in the applicable state.
• Two (2) years' geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification required or obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in planning, developing, implementing, evaluating and directing the Nursing Services department.
• Interview, select, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise nursing staff.
• Oversee care provided by nursing staff and infection control responsibilities.
• Assume the duties of the DON in his or her absence and provide direct nursing care as necessary.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies.
