William Paterson University is seeking a Student Success Coordinator for the Nursing Enrichment and Tutoring Center (NET). The role involves coordinating tutors, managing undergraduate and graduate cohorts, and identifying at-risk students for targeted support.

Reporting to the Associate Dean of the School of Nursing, you will help ensure curricular alignment by reviewing NCLEX pass rates and supervise nursing student tutors, while contributing to program development and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Nursing Education preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in mentoring/tutoring/advising students.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with audiovisual equipment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations of the Nursing Enrichment and Tutoring (NET) Center.
• Coordinates scheduling of tutors and mentors and serves undergraduate and graduate cohorts.
• Evaluates NCLEX and Certificate pass rates to inform curricular offerings and alignment.
• Hires, orients, trains, and supervises nursing student tutors and mentors.
• Develops and recommends budget for NET activities and programs.
• Gathers data on student response and initiates new programs as needed.
