PACS Group in San Diego, CA is seeking a Director of Staff Development (DSD) to plan and implement orientation, nursing assistant training, and ongoing education programs to meet regulatory requirements. This role also provides direct resident care and partners with the DON and Administrator to maintain high quality care.

Candidates must be a current RN or LVN/LPN with a valid license, BSN preferred, plus 2+ years in LTC and 1+ year leading education initiatives.

Formación

• Must hold an active RN or LVN/LPN license in the state.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• Minimum 1 year direct patient care in long-term care; 1+ year planning/leading education programs.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and implement facility orientation and staff training.
• Coordinate in-service education and annual schedules.
• Document education programs and maintain regulatory records.
• Coordinate infection control surveillance and drills.
• Provide direct resident/patient care when needed.
• Supervise staff and participate in disciplinary actions as required.
