Job summary

Galen College of Nursing is seeking a Program Director who will provide engaged leadership for the nursing program’s development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement in compliance with state and federal regulations.

The role oversees faculty, governance, accreditation, budgeting, and resources, while maintaining a learner-centered environment that supports student success and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing required; doctoral degree preferred.
• Experience in higher education administration and nursing education.
• Strong leadership and governance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for development, implementation, evaluation, and quality improvement of the nursing program.
• Oversee program accreditation, governance, budgeting, and resource management.
• Ensure faculty sufficiency, scheduling, mentoring, and professional development.
• Maintain compliance with state/federal regulatory and accrediting bodies.
