Galen College of Nursing, a national nursing education leader, seeks a Dean of Nursing to provide accountable leadership for academic programs, partnerships, and campus operations. You will drive teaching excellence, faculty and student engagement, and ensure accreditation standards are met across curricula.

The role focuses on strategic direction, resource development, and governance participation, shaping outcomes for students pursuing compassionate nursing careers.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive, senior-level experience in higher education preferred.
• Excellence in teaching and clinical nursing practice required.
• Experience developing community relationships; budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide accountable leadership for academic programs and campus management.
• Ensure teaching excellence, faculty engagement, and student success.
• Develop and monitor curriculum to meet accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead fiscal planning and secure resources for educational initiatives.
• Oversee faculty resources and ensure faculty expertise is maintained.
