Job summary

Pacific College in Costa Mesa seeks a Director to lead the Vocational Nursing program, directing operations, planning, implementing, and evaluating the program and faculty. Collaborate with campus leaders on policy, curriculum, and student-centered processes aligned with the college's vision and accreditation standards.

You will partner with faculty and administrators to promote student success, oversee budgets, and ensure compliance with state regulations and BVNPT requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing; doctorate preferred.
• Licensed/eligible as an RN in California.
• Three to five years teaching experience.
• Three to five years leadership experience including supervision and curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ambassador promoting collaboration with campus and community partners.
• Recruit, supervise, develop, and direct faculty to ensure current curricula.
• Supervise and evaluate staff; interview and select employees; train and discipline personnel; ensure licensure.
• Travel to the Costa Mesa campus for meetings and needs.
• Manage personnel, budget, and resources with accountability and efficiency.
• Ensure LVN program operations comply with applicable laws and accreditation.
• Prepare and maintain reports for BVNPT, WSCUC, and governing agencies.
• Participate in program evaluation and curriculum revision.
• Advise and counsel students to promote success and communicate with faculty.
• Lead department meetings and governance committees.
