Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Educator to join our Clinical Education team in a hybrid role with travel. You will apply ANPD principles and lead educational interventions to bridge knowledge gaps across ambulatory clinics and healthcare teams.

The role requires an RN license with CNS or RN-BC credentials (or ability to obtain within 6 months) and 3 years of clinical nursing experience with adult teaching.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice.
• ANCC CNS or RN-BC certification preferred; must be obtained within 6 months.
• Master's degree in Nursing(s) or equivalent with related field.

Responsibilities

• Apply ANPD principles to deliver evidenced-based nursing and education interventions.
• Identify knowledge gaps through needs assessments and develop learning solutions.
• Analyze cost and ROI for learning activities and lead change using project management.
• Develop outcomes and plans aligned with stakeholder values and regulatory requirements.
• Promote evidence-based practice and mentor nursing staff and NEPD generalists.
• Assess learner characteristics and create effective learning environments using technology.
• Advise on materials, virtual environments, and teaching strategies.
• Foster interprofessional partnerships to improve health care and outcomes.
• Support transitions for nurses across learning and practice environments.
