Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Professional Development Specialist to design, deliver, and evaluate education programs for ambulatory clinics across Georgia. The hybrid role combines on-site and remote work with travel within the Floyd and Navient areas.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Nursing (Education preferred), 3 years of clinical teaching experience, and ANCC CNS or RN-BC certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN licensure in state where practicing and ANCC certification (CNS or RN-BC) within 6 months.
• 3 years of clinical nursing experience with adult teaching or education program development.
• Experience designing and evaluating education programs using adult learning principles.

Responsibilities

• Apply ANPD principles to deliver evidenced-based nursing education interventions.
• Collect data to identify knowledge gaps and determine learning needs.
• Analyze costs and ROI for learning activities and programs.
• Develop context-specific outcomes and plans for education programs.
• Promote evidence-based practice and support lifelong learning among staff.
• Assess learner characteristics and create culturally relevant programs.
• Advise on design, development, and evaluation of educational materials and environments.
• Foster interprofessional collaboration and partnerships to improve care.
• Mentor NEPD generalists and support professional development.
