Job summary

National Health Care Associates, Inc. Bloomfield is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator to design and oversee training programs that elevate care quality. You will guide staff through orientation, ongoing education, and compliance with regulatory standards, influencing patient well-being and team performance.

You will lead curriculum development, mentor colleagues, and partner with department heads to ensure high standards of clinical practice and continuous improvement across the facility.

Qualifications

• Valid state nursing license.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in long-term care.
• Experience in staff education and development.
• Leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee training programs for the team.
• Assess training needs, develop curriculum, and deliver education.
• Collaborate with department heads to align with regulatory requirements.
• Mentor, coach, and support staff to enhance skills and performance.
• Coordinate orientation of all new employees for compliant onboarding.
• Maintain records of training activities and staff certifications.
