Job summary

We are seeking an RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator to join our healthcare team. You will develop and deliver educational programs for nursing staff, oversee onboarding, in-service training, and continuing education to elevate patient care.

You will collaborate with the care team, conduct audits, mentor new staff, stay current with best practices, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes. PA license required, BSN or higher, and prior experience in a similar role.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Pennsylvania
• BSN degree or higher in Nursing
• Prior experience in a similar role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive education programs for nursing staff, including onboarding, in-service, and continuing education training
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of patient care practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address gaps in care
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care protocols and standards
• Provide mentorship and coaching to new staff members, providing guidance and support to help them integrate into our team
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and nursing practice
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of quality improvement projects
