Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking an Assistant Dean to assist the Dean with nursing workforce development site operations, supervision of nursing program activities, curriculum implementation, and special projects. You will work under the Dean to ensure program effectiveness and compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership in faculty and student management, collaboration with clinical partners, and timely completion of program evaluations and reports.

Qualifications

• Current valid California RN license or license in the state where the WFD site is located.
• Master’s degree in nursing, education, or administration; or BSN with MSN enrollment.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs.
• One year of continuous RN patient care experience or equivalent per board requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to diversity as defined by law.
• Ability to work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and supervise, plan, and budget for program maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing program activities and instructional initiatives.
• Collaborate with clinical partners and the Academic Program Manager on placements and objectives.
• Oversee faculty and student policies, calendars, and evaluations.
• Manage program budget, resources, and equipment to meet objectives.
• Lead committees, admissions, orientation, and student advising.
• Ensure timely completion of attendance, evaluations, and program data.
• Maintain compliance with Board and accrediting rules; prepare required reports.
