Job summary

Iowa Western Community College (IWCC) is seeking a nursing instructor to deliver instruction across all levels of the nursing program. The role includes classroom, laboratory, clinical rotations and simulation sessions, with responsibilities for curriculum development and assessment of student learning.

The position also involves student advising, recruitment, and collaboration with the department on GELO outcomes, along with budget management and participation in college committees.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or MSN in progress.
• At least 3 years of nursing experience.
• Experience in classroom/lab/clinical environments.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Strong research and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction for all levels of nursing program classes.
• Teach classroom, laboratory, clinical, and simulation sessions.
• Develop/restructure curriculum and GELO assessments.
• Advise students and participate in recruitment activities.
• Manage materials, supplies, and budget; participate in college committees.
