Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing and 9 semester hours or 45 continuing education hours in Nursing Education courses to meet NCBON Education rules.
• Two years full-time bedside nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lectures for theory.
• Create labs to teach nursing skills.
• Evaluate students’ performance during skills checkoffs.
• Manage class, lab, clinical, and preceptorship assignments.
• Evaluate and grade student work including exams and assignments.
• Maintain records of student performance and attendance.
• Conduct evaluations and testing of students.
• Collaborate with the ADN Education Director to develop policies and procedures.
• Maintain NCBON education rules and standards.
• Participate in student recruitment and faculty committees.
