Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a Nursing Educator to teach a mix of day, evening, and weekend courses on campus and online as requested.

You will guide students through clinical content, develop syllabi, and assess progress while maintaining accurate records and advising students toward graduation. Master's in Nursing and SC licensure eligibility are required; two years of recent teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialty in the area of teaching assignments.
• Minimum of two years recent experience.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of nursing and teaches courses day, evening, Saturday, on campus and online when requested.
• Maintains class, laboratory and exam meeting times for assigned courses.
• Evaluates students' progress through tests, exams, projects and assignments in a timely manner.
• Prepares daily lectures/activities and supplemental course materials to enhance instruction.
• Advises students and monitors progress toward graduation.
• Maintains administrative records and posts office hours to assist students.
