Job summary

CH01 CHE Fresenius Medical Care (Schweiz) AG is seeking a Director of Nursing to oversee nursing operations in a New York facility. The role requires RN licensure, ACLS, and at least three years in vascular access/IR settings, with supervisory responsibilities and CQI focus.

You will coordinate staffing, ensure compliance with policies, and work with physicians and management to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a medical/vascular access setting is preferred.
• Supervisory or management experience in a medical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility operations and patient procedures to ensure quality care.
• Supervise and direct facility staff including RNs and technicians.
• Assist Facility Manager with staff evaluations and trainings.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Administer medications and IV conscious sedation per physician orders.
• Lead CQI activities and participate in regulatory surveys and action plans.
