Job summary

COMMUNITY PHARMACY is seeking a Director of Nursing RN to oversee nursing policies, ensure high-quality resident care, and guide staff through training and rounds. The role requires collaboration with therapy and social work for a holistic approach and active participation in quality improvement and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will mentor nursing staff, manage resources and budgets, and build strong relationships with residents and families in a fast-paced facility environment.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• 3+ years in a leadership role in skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, policies and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures and standards of care.
• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff with resources and training.
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident care and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with therapy and social work for comprehensive resident care.
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families and stakeholders.
• Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Develop and manage budgets and resources for nursing services.
• Mentor and coach nursing staff to promote growth.
