Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school or college.
• Valid RN license in good standing.
• Valid CPR and BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Administrator to recruit and select nursing staff.
• Review scheduling and staffing to meet daily PPD requirements.
• Provide assistance to nursing staff including admissions, med pass and wound care.
• Develop and conduct performance evaluations for nursing staff.
• Maintain and update nursing department policies and procedures.
• Review residents discharge plans and participate in surveys and inspections.
• Monitor facility QI and survey reports and address complaints.
