Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a Director of Nursing in Fort Myers, FL to lead nursing care delivery across OR, Preop, and PACU. This role oversees quality improvement, risk management, infection control, and teammate education, guiding departments to meet physician and facility standards.

The successful candidate will have nursing leadership experience, RN licensure, and timely completion of required BLS/ACLS certifications, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• Current RN licensure is required.

• Provide leadership oversight to ensure patient needs are met in line with physician guidance and facility policies.
• Foster positive working relationships across departments and among staff.
• Direct others clearly to promote efficiency in clinical areas.
