Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead nursing care delivery across the OR, Preop, and PACU, ensuring alignment with physician instructions and facility policies. The role oversees quality improvement, risk management, infection control, and staff education to drive patient-centered care.

You will supervise multiple clinical teams, foster collaboration, and promote efficiency, supporting physicians and patients while upholding the organization’s seven core values in everyday

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required; a bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Current RN licensure.
• 2 years Nursing Management experience preferred.
• BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• ACLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership oversight to ensure patient needs are met in accordance with instructions of physician and facility’s policies & procedures.
• Demonstrate respect for co-workers & leadership and develops positive working relationships within departments.
• Provide direction to others that is clear, concise and promotes efficiency throughout the clinical areas of the facility.
• Recognize legal policy limits and individual practice.
