Job summary

SCA Health in Tampa, FL is seeking a Director of Nursing to oversee nursing care delivery across OR, Preop, and PACU. You will lead clinical teams, ensure quality and patient safety, and align with facility policies.

This role requires an RN with an Associate degree (bachelor's preferred), current licensure, and nursing management experience. You will drive quality improvement, risk management, and staff development in a high-volume ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Current RN licensure.
• 2 years Nursing Management experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership oversight to ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions and facility policies.
• Demonstrate respect for coworkers and leadership, fostering positive interdepartmental relationships.
• Provide clear, concise direction to promote efficiency across clinical areas.
• Oversee quality improvement, risk management, and infection control within the facility.
