Arcadia Care is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to plan, organize, develop, and direct the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in compliance with federal, state, and local standards. This leadership role ensures the highest quality of care in our facility located in Illinois.

The DON will coordinate services across departments and perform essential administrative duties to maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current Illinois unencumbered license to practice as a RN.
• 3 years of experience in a supervisor healthcare role, preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing department, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents’ total regimen of care.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
• Ensure enough licensed practical and/or registered nurses; Certified Nursing Assistants; medications; and safety equipment are available and utilized in the proper manner for each shift to ensure that quality care is maintained.

Formation

Nursing degree from an accredited college or university

Illinois RN license
