Arcadia Care seeks a Director of Nursing to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Nursing Department in our Illinois facility, ensuring the highest quality of care in compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines.

The role requires over 3 years of supervisory experience, an RN license, CPR certification, and strong leadership within a multidisciplinary team to maintain excellence in resident care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related health care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current, unencumbered state license.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Proficient reading, writing, speaking and understanding of English.
• Able to work cooperatively in a team and lead personnel.

Responsabilités

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department and programs.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and assignments for nursing personnel.
• Assist HR in performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Oversee infection control, TB management, and safety procedures within the department.
• Review nurses' notes, monitor medication passes and treatments, and provide direct care when needed.
• Coordinate continuing education and in-service training for nursing staff.
• Report incidents and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
