Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a Director of Nursing for a skilled nursing facility in Roswell, NM. The role covers 24-hour nursing supervision, adherence to federal, state, and company standards, and leadership of the nursing department.

You will oversee care quality, supervise staff, and ensure regulatory compliance, while fostering a welcoming culture and strong teamwork. Relocation is required with a $2,500 relocation bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed as an RN in the state of practice.
• Must hold an Associate or Bachelor Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing school.
• Minimum five years in long-term or acute health care; at least two years of nursing supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plans for total resident care in line with physician orders and regulations.
• Supervise nursing staff and interpret policies and procedures.
• Attend admissions decisions and participate in care planning and census discussions.
• Lead daily and weekly management team meetings and address resident concerns.
• Perform nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
