OPCO Skilled Management in Roswell, NM, is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing services in a skilled nursing setting. This full-time position requires relocation and offers the opportunity to build strong teams and uphold high-quality resident care.

The Director of Nursing will oversee 24-hour nursing supervision, ensure compliance with federal, state and company standards, and coordinate the nursing department's activities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in nursing.
• Five years of long-term or acute care experience; at least 2 years in nursing supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total care plans compliant with physician orders and regulations.
• Interpret and communicate policies to nursing staff and monitor practice.
• Participate in admissions decisions and visit prospective residents.
• Attend management meetings to discuss census, personnel, and resident concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
