Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management seeks a dynamic Director of Nursing to lead our nursing services for the facility in Roswell, NM. You will supervise the nursing department, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain high-quality resident care in collaboration with the administrator and medical staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating care plans, guiding policy implementation, and overseeing admissions while promoting a welcoming, collaborative culture and staff development.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN licensure in the state where practice.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Five years in long-term or acute care preferred; at least two years in nursing supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total resident care plans in line with physician orders and regulations.
• Interpret and enforce nursing policies and supervise staff practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and assess prospective residents.
• Lead weekly management meetings to review resident status and census changes.
• Maintain flexibility to perform other duties as needed.
