Job summary

Opco-Skilled-Management- is seeking a qualified Director of Nursing in Roswell, NM to lead the Nursing Services, ensure quality care, and manage the Nursing Department according to federal, state, and company standards. You will supervise 24-hour operations and build a strong, welcoming team culture.

The ideal candidate holds RN licensure, a nursing degree, and several years of long-term or acute care plus supervisory experience, with a track record in creating a positive care environment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum five years in long-term or acute health care, with two years nursing supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total patient care with physician orders, regulations and facility policies.
• Communicate policies and monitor nursing staff practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and review prospective residents.
• Lead daily and weekly management meetings to review resident status and census changes.
• Oversee 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and act for Administrator as needed.
