Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as Director of Nursing at our skilled nursing facility in Roswell, New Mexico. The role ensures 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and adherence to physician orders, state and federal standards, and company policies.

You will lead and develop strong teams, foster a welcoming culture, participate in admissions decisions, and collaborate with the management team to maintain quality of care.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed RN in the state practiced.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing school required.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates plans for total care of each resident per physician orders and regulations.
• Interprets and enforces policies to nursing staff; monitors practices.
• Participates in admissions decisions and discusses resident status with management.
• Leads nursing staff meetings and ensures regulatory compliance.
• In absence of Administrator, assumes responsibility for center operations.
