Job summary

Sweetwater Care in California is seeking a Nursing Services Administrator to oversee 24-hour nursing operations, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and coordinate patient care in collaboration with physicians. The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, and prior supervisory experience in long-term or acute care.

You will drive quality standards and support the nursing staff to deliver compassionate, compliant care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the state of practice.
• Requires an associate or bachelor degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum two years of nursing supervisory experience; five years in long-term or acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total care plans for residents in line with physician orders and policies.
• Interpret and enforce nursing policies, monitor staff practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and assess prospective residents.
• Attend management meetings to discuss resident status and census changes.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
