Job summary

STGi is seeking a Director of Nursing for a future opening in Kernersville, NC. This full-time role oversees nursing services and ensures quality resident care in a residential health facility.

The position requires an active RN license, 3+ years of supervisory experience in a hospital or similar setting, and exposure to rehabilitative nursing practices. Strong leadership and QAPI involvement are expected.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered RN license in the state.
• Experience providing care aligned to age-related needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure nursing care aligns with residents' wishes and advance directives.
• Provide individualized, culturally competent care.
• Plan and direct the nursing services department and programs.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals in resident care and facility mission.
• Develop and maintain a QAPI program for the nursing services department.
• Monitor 24-hour nursing reports to ensure timely responses to changes in residents' condition.
• Oversee staff development and infection prevention/control programs.
• Monitor medication passes and treatments as ordered.
• Participate in QAPI and risk management committees.
