HMR Veteran's Services, LLC in Texas seeks a Director of Nursing to plan, organize, develop, and direct the Nursing Department, ensuring compliance with current standards and regulations. The DON will work under the Administrator and Regional Director of Clinical Operations to uphold high-quality resident care.

The role requires strong clinical and administrative judgment, leadership, and the ability to collaborate with staff, families, physicians, and regulatory agencies in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of three years’ nursing experience in skilled nursing/long-term care with supervisory or leadership duties.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations and standards of practice for skilled nursing facilities.
• Experience with clinical operations, infection prevention, QA/PI, and nursing staff management.
• Ability to exercise sound clinical and administrative judgment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, staff and regulators.
