Hireology invites a skilled Director of Nursing (DON) to lead care for residents in Texas, guiding nursing staff with professionalism and clinical excellence. You will ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines, manage recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, payroll, and performance, and collaborate with physicians to develop individualized care plans across the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing with the State of Texas.
• Leadership experience in long-term or geriatric nursing.
• Strong clinical skills with restorative care approach.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing services in accordance with guidelines.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance of nursing staff.
• Support direct care on the floor to maintain high-quality care.
• Review payroll submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor resident records for accuracy and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create care plans.
• Ensure nursing staff have timely access to equipment and supplies.
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to improve outcomes.
