Hireology is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing team in Texas, ensuring compassionate, compliant care and clinical excellence. You will guide staff and uphold high standards across the facility.

You will recruit, onboard, schedule, and evaluate nurses, while participating on the floor to support care, review payroll, and develop care plans with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing with Texas requirements.
• Proven leadership in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
• Clinical skills with restorative care approach.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Compliance: Oversee nursing services per guidelines.
• Lead the Team: Recruit, onboard, schedule, and evaluate nursing staff.
• Support Direct Care: Step in on the floor to maintain high-quality care.
• Review Payroll: Approve payroll submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain Records: Ensure resident records are accurate and properly documented.
• Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with physicians and teams for individualized plans.
• Provide Resources: Ensure access to equipment and supplies.
• Coach and Mentor: Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff.
