Job summary

Reliant Management seeks a dynamic Director of Nursing to lead our clinical team and ensure an exceptional care experience for residents. You will plan, organize, develop and direct the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

You will recruit and train staff, oversee admissions assessments, coordinate care plans, supervise 24-hour nursing operations, and ensure ongoing quality assurance.

Qualifications

• 2 years of DON experience in a California Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Must have an unrestricted RN license in California.
• Must be able to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, and train staff; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline staff.
• Coordinate care and services to improve plans of care and quality of life for residents.
• Ensure proper assessment of prospective residents prior to admission.
• Develop staffing plans to ensure sufficient direct care staffing and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure 24-hour nursing administration presence and on-call coverage.
