Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training.
• Current Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in supervisory/charge nurse role in a hospital or nursing facility.
• Point Click Care software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing services and develops standards of performance.
• Interprets nursing policies to staff and community groups.
• Assists in budget preparation for the department.
• Manages personnel qualifications, training, and in-service programs.
• Participates in QA, Infection Control, Safety and other facility committees.
• On-call status 24/7 and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Maintains resident confidentiality and ensures safety policies.
• Recruits, interviews, and supervises nursing staff through HR.
