Qualifications

• Current, active state nursing license (RN or LPN)
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience preferred
• CPR or BLS certification preferred
• Experience with preadmission assessments, staff training, and education for residents/families
• Experience in a senior living or healthcare setting preferred
• Proficiency with common digital tools and EHR systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality care and services per care plans and assessments.
• Develop nursing service objectives, policies, and procedures per regulations.
• Maintain a safe working environment and safe practices.
• Provide nursing coverage and assistance when needed.
• Assess residents for appropriate care levels with urgency.
• Manage and coordinate nursing and care staff, communicating health information.
• Oversee medications for residents who self-administer where applicable.
• Oversee pharmacy and eMAR accuracy and address concerns in real time.
• Maintain resident files with interim documentation and participate in interdisciplinary care meetings.
• Interview, hire, train, supervise, and retain a high-performing team.
• Lead service plan meetings with residents and families.
