Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred.
• Current RN license in State of facility required.
• 6+ years’ experience as a registered nurse preferred.
• 3 years of registered nursing experience required.
• Two years of experience in behavioral health as a RN preferred.
• One year experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment required.
• Prior DON or Nurse Manager experience preferred.
• Two years of progressive leadership or management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Sets the vision for nursing practice and patient-centered care.
• Manage census, acuity, and allocate nursing resources accordingly.
• Provide clinical leadership and set long-term goals for nursing staff.
• Direct and evaluate nursing personnel and budget.
• Develop policies and procedures to meet regulatory and quality standards.
• Recruit, hire, and train nursing personnel.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
