Job summary

Right Hire Consulting LLC seeks an RN Director of Nursing Behavioral Health to lead the clinical nursing team across inpatient and outpatient behavioral health programs. The role focuses on clinical excellence, policy implementation, and staff development to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include strategic leadership, staffing oversight, performance evaluations, and adherence to regulatory standards across all programs.

Qualifications

• RN license in Ohio (BSN or MSN) is required.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical leadership experience in behavioral health/psychiatric nursing.
• Knowledge of psychiatric nursing care, protocols, and compliance regulations.
• Experience developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures.
• Skilled in managing therapeutic environments and leading staff training programs.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• CPR certification currently valid.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and daily oversight for the nursing management team.
• Ensure inpatient programs are staffed and equipped to deliver safe, effective care.
• Oversee performance evaluations, supervision, and staff competency development.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards.
• Act as liaison among physicians, patients, referral sources, and staff.
• Monitor patient satisfaction data and report to the PI committee.
