Job summary

Christiana Care Health System seeks a Nursing Coordinator to oversee staffing adjustments and bed coordination for the Nursing Department. You will act as an administrative resource to nursing staff, physicians, and ancillary departments, ensuring smooth patient placement and coordination across shifts.

The role includes a 72-hour per pay period schedule on a night shift with rotation to days, full-time flex, with possible hospital rotations.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• BCLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Three years of Nursing experience in an acute care facility.
• Management/leadership experience preferred (Charge Nurse experience at minimum).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing adjustments and patient placement/bed coordination activity for the Department of Nursing.
• Serve as an administrative resource to nursing personnel, physicians, ancillary departments, and the administrator on call.
