The role requires an RN license, 5+ years in nursing with supervisory experience, and a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nursing.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice and specialty certification within 1 year.
- 5 years of nursing experience including 1 year of supervisory experience in staff and budget management.
- Knowledge of nursing management concepts, clinical practice, and facility policies.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate staffing and resources to ensure optimal nursing care 24/7.
- Evaluate care quality using standards, outcomes, and incident reports.
- Develop service strategies and monitor levels against indicators.
- Collaborate with other departments and promote evidence-based practice.
- Lead governance activities and drive changes in nursing practice.
- Develop budgets and monitor expenditures within approved targets.
