Advocate Health Care is seeking an experienced Nursing Manager to lead clinical operations and staff across a nursing unit in Illinois. You will oversee staffing, budgeting, and quality initiatives to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires a BSN, Illinois RN licensure, and at least 5 years of clinical experience with 3 years in leadership. Collaboration with physicians and hospital leadership is essential to drive performance and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Directs nursing practice, operations, and services to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
Assumes 24/7 responsibility for daily clinical/administrative functions of the unit.
Plans staffing and resources based on caseload, acuity, and patient needs.
Oversees staff development, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
Manages departmental budget and monitors expenses vs. budget.
Fosters inter-departmental collaboration and patient-centered care.
Leads continuous quality improvement and adherence to regulatory standards.
