Job summary

American Advanced Management is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to lead a 12‑hour nursing unit, coordinating staff, acuity, and census to guide patient care decisions. You will oversee clinical delivery and participate in safe, high‑quality care while supporting family needs and unit operations.

Responsibilities include directing the nursing team, responding to staff requests, and performing rounds to enhance outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BSN preferred; if not possessed, enrollment toward degree within 1 year and completion within 5 years.
• Minimum 2 years relevant clinical experience in an acute care facility.
• One year minimum experience in a charge/relief charge role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise personnel and coordinate operational activities on a 12-hour nursing unit.
• Direct clinical nursing care and ensure quality patient outcomes and family satisfaction.
• Conduct board rounds on each patient to assess needs and document care.
• Manage unit performance under supervision of Department Director and Hospital Supervisor.
