Job summary
Mount St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Maryland is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for the School of Nursing to lead and coordinate clinical education across the BSN curriculum.
The role collaborates with program leadership and faculty to align placements with course outcomes and accreditation standards. You will secure and evaluate clinical placements, monitor regulatory requirements, and serve as the liaison with clinical partners.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current, unencumbered RN license in Maryland or eligibility for Maryland licensure.
- Minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience.
- Experience in nursing education, clinical instruction, or academic administration.
- Knowledge of pre-licensure nursing curriculum and clinical education requirements.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare agencies, clinical partners.
- Identify, develop, and secure clinical placements that support program enrollment and curricular needs.
- Coordinate affiliation agreements and monitor contract renewals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clinical agencies and the nursing program.
- Monitor agency requirements, regulatory changes, and clinical placement availability.
