Job summary

Mount St. Mary's University is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for the School of Nursing to lead clinical education across the BSN curriculum.

You will coordinate placements, liaise with clinical partners, and ensure compliance with Maryland Board of Nursing requirements and CCNE accreditation standards. This role partners with faculty and program leadership to align experiences with course outcomes and program goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing is required.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in Maryland or eligibility is required.
• Minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience is required.
• Experience in nursing education, clinical instruction, or academic administration.
• Knowledge of pre-licensure nursing curriculum and clinical education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare agencies, community organizations, and clinical partners.
• Identify, develop, and secure clinical placements that support program enrollment and curricular needs.
• Coordinate affiliation agreements and monitor contract renewals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between clinical agencies and the nursing program.
• Monitor agency requirements, regulatory changes, and clinical placement availability.
