Job summary

Calhoun Convalescent Center seeks an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee clinical outcomes and guide the care team, prioritizing quality care, regulatory compliance, and staff development. The DON will lead safety and patient wellness across the facility and ensure staff embody these values.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years as a DON in long-term care, an active RN license in-state, BSN preferred, and proven leadership with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of residency (in-state).
• 4+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing in long-term care.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership with excellent customer service.
• Excellent computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.

• Support nursing department objectives and standards to ensure quality care.
