NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Nursing Attendant for the Labor and Delivery unit at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. The part-time day shift (7:00 am–3:15 am) involves bedside patient support, transporting meals, and assisting with basic care under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe, clean environment while collaborating with nurses and other care team members.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association required.
• Nurse Aide certification or approved Nurse Aid training program required.
• BSN program enrollment – junior year and/or completion of at least one clinical practicum.

Provide comfort and caring as an NYP nursing attendant-keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care.

This is a part time day shift position, 7:00 am- 3:15 am, 5 shifts in a 2 week period, every other weekend, located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital.

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association is required
• Must meet one of the following:
  • Previous Nurse’s Aide experience in a hospital setting
  • Certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aid training program
  • Current enrollment in a BSN program - at the junior year level and/or completion of at least one clinical practicum

Salary Range

$25.89-$27.52/Hourly
