Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital is seeking a Nursing Attendant I for the Float Pool in a part-time, day-shift role. You will support nursing staff by monitoring vital signs, assisting with meals and patient transport, and providing compassionate care at the bedside to help maintain a safe, clean, and patient‑centered environment.

Preferred criteria include 1 year of nurse's aide experience in acute care, a current CPR certification, and either existing nurse's aide credentials or

• Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association required.
• Must meet one of: nurse's aide experience in hospital setting, certification from an approved nurse aide training program, or current enrollment in a BSN program.

• Assist with meals delivery and patient transport.
• Provide comfort and compassionate care under supervision of a registered nurse.

Nursing Attendant I - Float Pool - Part Time - Day Shift At NewYork-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital, certified nurses aides thrive at the bedside as invaluable care providers. Monitor blood pressure and temperature of patients, while ensuring the delivery of meals and safe transport. So bring your smile to work. Infuse energy and hospitality into a patient's day. Provide comfort and caring as a certified nurses aide at NYP-keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care. The shift for this position is 7:00am - 3:00pm, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Criteria

At least 1 year of nurse's aide experience in an acute care setting

Required Criteria

Salary Range: $24.60-$26.46/Hourly
