NewYork-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital is seeking a Nursing Attendant I for the Float Pool on a part-time, day shift schedule. The role supports bedside care, assists with meals, transports patients, and collaborates with nurses and ICU technicians to maintain smooth operations.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, recording readings, and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care under RN supervision.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR training from the American Heart Association required.
• Must meet one of: nurse’s aide experience in hospital, certification from an approved nurse aide program, or enrollment in a BSN program.

Nursing Attendant I - Float Pool - PartTime- Day Shift

Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care.

The shift for this position is 7:00am - 3:00pm, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Criteria

• At least 1 year of nurse’s aide experience in an acute care setting

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED
• Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association
• Must meet one of the following: previous nurse’s aide experience in a hospital setting, certification from an approved accredited nurse aide training program, or current enrollment in a BSN program

Salary Range:

$24.60-$26.46/Hourly
